Teacher Appreciation Week is this week at my son’s school. Today the suggested gift idea is – Classroom Supply.  It’s the last day of the suggested week long schedule for gifts.

Monday: Small plant or flower

Tuesday: A small sweet treat

Wednesday: A note from the student.

Thursday: Gift card (for example a $5 iTunes gift card)

Friday: A classroom supply (glue, hand sanitizer, markers, etc)

Last week my son’s teacher said they needed some glue sticks to make it until the end of the year. That was on my list (as I’m sure every other parents as well . . . ?).

I tried to think of some classroom supplies that could still be used before the end of the year. School only has a few more weeks.

My son’s teacher is going to be moving classrooms this summer. I know she will be packing up lots of boxes. I put the Sharpies in the bag for her. I hope she will be able to use them while marking boxes for moving. Sharpies are always good to have around.

Post-it notes. My son says she uses these a lot in class. So I grabbed a small stack.
