This past Christmas we organized a gift exchange for all the cousins. The theme was “busy bags.”  The gift could be anything in a bag that would be age appropriate and keep the kid busy or entertained for awhile. One of the things we decided to make was a game with items from around the house, markers and a wooden block.  I love this kind of gift because it is creative, unique, and one of a kind.  It doesn’t break the bank either.  The idea started when I saw these cute ideas and these sensory play things for kids and wanted to make a few for my youngest.  The possibilities are endless.

Gift from kids to kids can be inexpensive and fun and creative using things you have around the house.

For part of our cousin gift, we put a small journal with writing prompts we thought of on each page. To write with, we added a fun multi colored pen.

  2. My son got the above gift. He loves it. His siblings and him love to take turn rolling the giant dice. His 21 month old sister loves that job while the boys move the animals up and down. It’s created many hours of fun at our house. T is always talking about “his game”.
